The Magic Shop, finally!

The gnome cleared his throat and said,

"Welcome to Jeremy's magic shop. How may I help you?"

Inside the shop there was barely enough room for the party to stand. It was difficult to move around without the party catching themselves on each other's armour or weapons. Behind Jeremy were various strange items. While most items were intriguing they were also expensive. A potion of supreme healing caught their attention after Jeremy confirmed it could heal Baphomet's missing eye. While they checked if they had the 1350 gold pieces it cost, Baphomet waved away their generous gesture. He said he was fine and and getting used to the lack of depth perception. Instead they bought four standard healing potions. After Jeremy disappeared into the back room a few times he reappeared with a few more affordable items. Once he learnt the party intended to fight evil he offed them discount on all of his items and even gave them back some gold.  Skonn purchased a longsword with a dubious history, known as "Prince Slayer." Arnogall and Sorin bought a Vicious Longbow each. Jeremy also identified some magic items that Baphomet and Drowyn had been carrying.
The Adventurers left the shop and finding themselves back in the spire they went to bed.  The next morning they had breakfast and Arnogall made a point of getting some water to drink while Skonn ate eggs. With a hearty breakfast inside them the party decided to fly the Hippogriffs to a tomb that Baphomet and Smiley had been told about in a mysterious letter. From the air they saw a small camp near the tomb and some of the party landed and investigated. A half ogre and a goblin leapt from a hiding place in the bushes but they easily killed.

The rest of the party landed and they all entered the tomb setting off an alarm supposedly rigged by the goblin and half-ogre.  A tunnel opened out into a small room with a rusty iron door. Smiley investigated the door and upon touching it a ghost appeared and commanded the party to leave. They ignored the apparition and defeated it. Beyond the rusty door was a smaller room and at the far end a a coffin and iron chest could be seen. On entering the room the party were faced with four floating swords that attacked immediately. Balderich was almost killed, saved only by the helm he happened to be wearing. The party retreated and the floating swords disappeared.  Skonn and Jarlier returned to the room and the swords reappeared. Skonn dashed in and retrieved the chest and they left room, the swords again disappeared as the left.  He took the chest outside of the tomb and opened it but all that was found inside were rags and a soggy book that was impossible to read.  Disappointed and confused The Adventurers returned to room to fight the flying swords to the death.
